Episode 2 of the Great Christmas Light Fight aired on December 16, 2003 on ABC and was seen by an estimated 4.04 million viewers. The first contestant of Episode 2 was the Gifford family from Pennsylvania. They had a Christmas village, animated characters, and a Christmas tree with over 15,000 lights!

The second contestant in Episode 2 was Lisa Noble from Long Island who decorated her house with more than 150,000 Christmas lights.

The third competitor in Episode 2 was Eric Danziger from Las Vegas. His Christmas display included a Christmas train, Christmas trees and Christmas decorations.

The fourth contestant was the Veregge family from Bellflower, California. They had a Christmas tree with 30,000 lights, arches of lights, and snowflakes made out of Christmas lights!

Ultimately, the Gifford family was crowned the winner of Great Christmas Light Fight Season 1 Episode 2. They won the trophy inspired by the Tacky Award from TackyLightTour.com that was seen presented to the Phifer family on the Crazy Christmas Lights television show on The Learning Channel. They also received $50,000 for their Christmas display. It was a great episode to watch and showcased some truly remarkable Christmas light displays. With each contestant bringing something unique to the show it made for an exciting Christmas light competition.

Michael Moloney has been a host on The Great Christmas Light Fight since it premiered in 2013 and his role is to provide commentary and insight on each light display so that he can help decide which contestant will be crowned the winner. About Joe Cipriano of the Great Christmas Light Fight

Joe’s career in radio began when he was still a junior at Watertown High School and kept spinning the greatest hits on hometown station, Watherbury – Connecticut. From there, his success story only had one direction to go! After meeting his wife while working for NBC inWashington D.C., they moved off to sunny Los Angeles where Joe landed DJ jobs with KHTZ, KKHR and eventually ascending as the voice of Fox Television network (1988) all before becoming CBS’ man behind the mic many years later (1997). On top of that impressive resume sits two beautiful children: Dayna born 1984 and Alex following three years after into 1987– each blessed their parents with something special. Even today you can catch him voicing promos across FOX’s airwaves plus both CBS & Food Network alike showcasing just how much love this self-made maverick has for what he does best even four decades deep!

Joe Cipriano is the announcer of ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight. He brings great enthusiasm to the show and helps keep viewers updated on what happens each week. His role as host also includes introducing each episode, introducing contestants, introducing judges, and helping announce the winner at the end of each episode.
