Kilowatt-Hour (kWh)

A kilowatt-hour (kWh) is a unit of measurement used to measure the amount of energy, or power, consumed by an appliance or machine in one hour. It is equivalent to 1,000 watts per hour, and can be used to measure the output of solar panels, wind turbines, and other electrical systems. Kilowatt-hours are also commonly used to measure the cost of electricity consumption.
