Luminaire Efficiency

Luminaire efficiency is a measure of the amount of light emitted by a luminaire compared to the electrical power it draws. The greater the efficiency, the more light that is emitted from a given wattage. Luminaire efficiency is usually expressed as a percentage, and can be improved with better design or use of energy-saving components such as LEDs. The efficiency of a luminaire can also be influenced by factors such as its installation location and the angle at which it is mounted.
