Kilowatt (kW)

A kilowatt (kW) is a unit of measurement used to measure power. It is equivalent to 1,000 watts and is commonly used to measure the output of electrical appliances and machines. The term kilowatt-hour (kWh) is often used to describe the amount of energy consumed by an appliance or machine in one hour.
