Nanometer (nm)

In lighting, a nanometer (nm) is a measure of the wavelength of light. It is equal to one billionth of a meter, or about 0.000000001 meters. This measurement is commonly used to describe the range of colors in lighting products, such as LED lights, that emit different wavelengths of visible light. Nanometers are typically used in combination with other units to describe the characteristics and performance of lighting products.
