NAILD

The National Association of Independent Lighting Distributors (NAILD) is a non-profit trade association dedicated to promoting the welfare and interests of independent lighting distributors worldwide. Established in 1913, NAILD represents over 1,000 members who are involved in wholesale distribution and sales of products for residential, commercial, and industrial lighting as well as electrical supplies.

Membership with NAILD provides access to networking, educational programs, and marketing resources that can help smaller distributors compete against larger ones. Members also benefit from exclusive discounts on products from top lighting manufacturers such as Philips Lighting, Cooper Lighting Solutions and Hubbell Lighting.

Additionally, members receive training on various topics relevant to the industry including safety standards, energy efficiency guidelines and business strategies. They also gain direct access to new technologies through NAILD’s partnership with the Professional Lighting Association’s Advanced Technology Network (PLATN).
