Line Voltage

Line voltage is the electrical potential difference between two points in a circuit. It is usually measured in volts (V) and is a measure of the pressure or force causing current to flow through an electrical circuit. Line voltage can be used to determine the correct power supply requirement for an appliance or device, as well as other parameters such as wire size and breaker size.
