At the beginning of January, families, church groups, individuals and civic organizations joined forces to take down the Lemon Park Lights displays in Pratt park. The success of this event is largely attributed to the community involvement it has garnered every year, as well as the leadership provided by Goyen, Ron Miller, and Traci Crow. Thanks to them and the hard work, the Lemon Park Lights extravaganza is able to benefit many people. This year was further aided by an additional storage shed built and erected by students from Pratt High School’s Geometry Construction Class under the direction of teacher Tim Rector; providing greater organization for the lights committee and making it easier for everyone involved.
