The Color Rendering Index (CRI) is used to measure the ability of a light source to accurately display colors when compared to natural light. Specifically, it evaluates how faithfully colors are displayed in comparison to sunlight by measuring eight color samples. On a scale from 0-100, the higher the CRI rating, the better the color accuracy and fidelity of the light source.
